LIVE SHOWS

Since 2017, we’ve been producing sold out live shows in venues all over Shanghai, and in January of 2022, we produced our first live show in Bali, Indonesia.

Our live shows feature a curated lineup of six storytellers from the community, who tell true stories from their own lives inspired by a given theme. At the start of a show cycle, we release the upcoming show date and theme, accompanied by original art work by an array of local artists. We invite individuals from the community to submit story drafts to us via email (stories@unravelstorytelling.com) or via the form on our website. Our team then reviews and workshops story drafts, before confirming a final lineup for the live show. Stories featured on stage are 5-10 minutes in length, narrative in structure, not recited from a script, loosely inspired by the given theme, and true to the storyteller’s life.
